- He has been serving as chairman of Ankara-based think tanks since 2020. He currently continues his activities as the founding president and chairman of the think tank Geopolitical Foresight Institute.
- Between the years 2009-2010 he served as Member of the Ethics Committee of the European Commission, has represented Türkiye in the meetings in Paris, and has contributed to the preparation of the documents related ethic.
- He served as a senior manager in the institutionally ongoing EU Projects between 2006 and 2013 and, worked as the Training Module Leader in the Professionalization of Law Enforcement Project, and as the Project Leader such as in the Human Rights and Prevention of Violence Against Women Projects.
- He served on permanent and temporary assignments in Gambia (2003-2005: Gambia Armed Forces Training Commander), Bosnia-Herzegovina (2000-2001: SFOR, Peace Force Intelligence Analysis and Balkan Countries Assessment Expert) and Iraq (1993-1994: Liaison Officer).
- He also participated in study and security meetings in Germany, France, USA, Belgium, The Netherlands, Russia, China, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Algeria, Morocco, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, Spain and Portugal on various years.
- Evaluated the events related to Türkiye and surrounding areas in various national and international television programs, it has been involved in the review of national and international newspapers and media sites.
- He has many articles published in national and international academic refereed journals and papers published in national and international congresses.
- He was awarded the Turkish Armed Forces Medal of Outstanding Courage and Self-Sacrifice.
